AI Image Editing - House Rules
1. Permitted AI editing
The Client may use AI Editing tools in the same way it uses Photoshop, generative fill and comparable AI-assisted editing tools to modify existing, lawfully licensed images.
Permitted modifications include:
- changing or extending backgrounds and settings;
- adjusting lighting, colour, shadows and atmosphere;
- adding, removing or replacing props and accessories;
- adjusting clothing, styling, hair and make-up;
- removing unwanted objects or technical imperfections;
All modifications must remain connected to the original licensed image, fall within the agreed campaign and preserve the Model’s identity.
AI editing does not extend the original licence, media, territory, purpose or usage period.
2. No new image generation
The images may not be used as input or reference material to generate new images, videos or other content depicting the Model.
The Client may not use the images for:
- image-to-image generation of substantially new content;
- face swapping or identity transfer;
- creating new campaign images or a virtual photoshoot;
- creating a digital twin, avatar, synthetic model or 3D representation;
- extracting or recreating the Model’s face, body, likeness or identity;
- creating a reusable identity profile, reference library or generative workflow.
Any new AI-generated content featuring or resembling the Model requires prior written approval and a separate licence and remuneration agreement.
3. No AI training or dataset use
The images may under no circumstances be used to train, fine-tune, test, validate or improve an AI or machine-learning system.
The images may not be included in:
- training, testing or validation datasets;
- LoRAs, embeddings, checkpoints or identity adapters;
- facial-recognition or biometric systems;
- internal AI research, development or demonstrations.
This applies to public, private, commercial, open-source and internally developed systems.
4. Prohibited modifications
The Client may not materially alter characteristics inherent to the Model’s identity, including:
- skin colour or natural skin tone;
- body shape, weight or proportions;
- facial features or bone structure;
- age or apparent age;
- other distinctive physical characteristics.
Modifications must remain realistic and physically possible. Excessive body or facial reshaping, anatomically incorrect results and combinations of the Model’s face with another person’s body are prohibited.
5. Prohibited content and contexts
The images may not be used in connection with sexual, violent, degrading, discriminatory, illegal, political or otherwise harmful content.
They may not be used for tobacco, recreational drugs, weapons or misleading endorsements.
The Client may not falsely suggest that the Model:
- was physically present at a particular location or event;
- used or endorsed a product, service, organisation or cause;
- made a statement or expressed a particular opinion.
Any use that could reasonably harm the Model’s dignity, reputation, privacy, safety, career or personal relationships is prohibited.
6. Approval and liability
In case of doubt about whether an edit is permitted, the Client must obtain prior written approval from Jackie Lee.
Unauthorised use may result in immediate removal of the content, termination of the licence, additional usage fees, compensation and other legal or contractual remedies.
